Depression is a day deeply rooted evil to society. Millions of men and women with this devastating disease. The remaining questions are how to deal with depression? Many of those suffering did not recognize their own symptoms and when they do it often can not control. Depression can lead to pain both mentally and physically.
For years my family has been affected by a deep depression. My grandmother was struggling with how to deal with depression alone back when depression is something to be ashamed. Even the closest friends have no idea how she is really sad. Then one day, she's cute I have my own life at just 43 years old. She left a note detailing the pain she has endured behind closed doors and only then that her family realizes the suffering she had undergone.
A few short years later my mother was diagnosed with bipolar depression. This common form of depression rearing its ugly head with the changes unexplained mood that can only be interpreted as violent. My mother can go from the happiest woman on earth to the saddest in a few hours. It took her more than 20 years ago when she won the right to control their emotions and eventually learned how to deal with depression. This includes hundreds of thousands of dollars in doctor bills, hospital routine treatment therapy, and weekly visits with the counselor. Although these methods may seem cruel to me she always swore they had saved her life.
I was four years old when my grandmother lost her life. My mother had eight for the first time I tried. Knowing how to deal with depression as an adult is one thing that a child means something completely different. Understand how one can upset all the time difficult. The first failure in life led me to develop my own case of depression. I spent over four years to visit with counselors and mental health professionals. By the time I'm 18 years old I was prescribed a food list of all medications to stabilize my mood. The side effects of these drugs include weight gain, loss of concentration, and a "fake" happy. That feeling of happiness is not real and my brain tell the difference. It was not until my early 20's that I have come to terms with what happened to my family as a result of depression. By learning how to deal with the depression I was able to overcome the pain and trauma and the steps necessary to become successful both in the business world and also in a social scene . While I was once shy and reserved, now I can walk into a room of unknown and immediately strike up a conversation. The ability to deal my own weakness I can meet my wife and have a family. This will never be another.
According to my experience shows, does not know how to deal with depression may lead to a series of negative effects. You can not do anything as extreme as taking your own life, but you only by accepting you are depressed and do nothing to overcome it, you are losing your own life. Ben Franklin once said, "Dost thou love life? After that, I do not waste time, for things that life is made of." Time is all you have in life and when your time is up you do not want to look back and wonder why you did not get help sooner. My mother did not have its own life without learning how to cope with depression earlier robbed her own more than 20 years of happy memories with family and friends. Every day is a gift and no one really knows when their time is up. I encourage you to take steps necessary to deal with depression or depression of a loved one. Do not let depression steal away the precious time you have been granted.
